You don't bring me flowers everyday

I love bears so make a few xmas cards at the weekend.
Just thought I would do a quick post before bedtime, I have stolen this idea from my daughters blogas I was in a hurry to make a card for my Boss who I thought was visiting today.( blonde moment) got the wrong day.

By getting the wrong day I ended up with Nettie helping me in the way of her making a stunning gift handbag which you will be able to view over on her blog, well once I mail over the photos.

I think I like the bag just as much as the gift so hope the boss does too.

Just before I go I will post one other card that I have made over the weekend.

Sleep snugly

Snowmen on th loose

Hello to one & all.

I said I would post my pictures once I had a chance to get some decent pictures.

I spent an afternoon last week with my very talented Daughter Nettie
but we do our own thing & this is what I came up with. I bought half a metre of this snowman material at a craft exabition back in the summer so thought I would set to with my first batch of xmas cards needed.

I have tried not to have more than two cards the same even though these will all be posted out across the many counties.

I used different coloured card from the papermill & some I cut apertures in to put the snowmen behind. The glitter paper was purchased at Dunelm at a bargain price of £1.99 which I think gives the card a real sparkle & I was able to get 3 cards out of one sheet.

The left hand card I decided to cut the frame out with foam pads to make it look as if the snowman was looking out.

I quite like making black christmas cards & with silver to make it sparkle, I also borrowed Nettie's snowflake punch.

Well I have gone on long enough so I will add the last picture & say good nite.
well I messed that up & the picyures went to the top of the page so that's where they will stay

Sweet dreams

Mandy

Thank you

What a lovely surprise to find that I have followers after just a few days even though I haven't made anything in the category of my trulytalented Daughter Netie.
Thank you for the lovely comments that have been left.
well today I did get around to doing a bit of card making but due to the awful weather thought I would be wasting my time taking photos so hopefully I will endeavour to do so tomorrow.
Have a good evening & thank you once again for your support.
Take care
Mandy

Sydney's door plague

This is my first post with my Daughter Nettie sitting along side of me to correct the size 9 blunders.
I created this door plague as I have two Grandson's who stay over most weekends & only Freddie's name has been on the door since he was born so I thought he desevered his name along side his brothers.
I thought this would fit the bill as regards the Allsorts challenge which was to make something for a child.
I bought the chipboard letters from the Range but was missing an extra Y so had to create an extra one,I just popped into a local garden centre this morning & bought the star12x12 for 20pence which I used for back ground but to stiffen it I just glued it to some coloured 12x12 card.
I added the dragonflies because I didn't have any worms (which is what Sydney brings to me weekly from the garden)
Can't wait to see what his comments are as he will arrive shortly.
Well that's about all for now or we won't be ready for the chill out on TV for Children in need.
Take care for now
Mandy
